Original design and Beau’s changes

gpraceman’s Watch Cleaning Baskets refines muddtt’s Pearl watch-cleaning designs. Beau added more holes and an extra spacer plate. The download keeps the original set, source images, README, and license alongside Beau’s local 3MF and STEP working files. The main photograph shows gpraceman’s original set.

Choose original meshes or modified projects

The files folder holds all 13 original STL meshes: basket variants, compartment trays, mini-basket holders, rotor, spindle, jar holder, and fan parts. The four 3MF projects and half-basket-meshed4.step are Beau’s supplied working files. Some projects contain both original and modified parts. The original Thingiverse ZIP is also available separately.

Open the 3MF projects in a compatible slicer

Some local projects use negative volumes to make holes. Inspect the sliced result: a plain STL export can omit those cutouts. Use bottom plate.3mf for the supplied spacer-plate project, and review the other projects before selecting the parts you need.

Original designer’s printing notes

gpraceman lists ABS, 0.2 mm layers, 25% infill, no supports, and a brim as starting settings, with higher infill for the extension spindle. The rotor uses a 3 mm threaded insert and screw. The mini-basket holder is sized around 24 × 22 mm baskets. These are the original designer’s settings, not a validation of Beau’s modified parts.

Meshed tray bottoms need slicer settings

For applicable trays, the original Cura recipe uses zero top and bottom layers, triangles infill, 3.0 mm line distance, line multiplier 2, and connected infill lines and polygons. Follow the original listing and inspect toolpaths; downloading the STL alone does not reproduce those settings.
