# Watch Cleaning Baskets — attribution and changes

## Original designers

**Watch Cleaning Baskets by gpraceman** is a remix of **muddtt's** Pearl
watch-cleaning parts. Beau Gosse did not create the original basket set.

## Beau Gosse's modifications

Beau added **more holes and an extra spacer plate**. The supplied local working
files are `watch cleaning.3mf`, `watchprop.3mf`, `watch cylidar pole.3mf`,
`bottom plate.3mf`, and `half-basket-meshed4.step`. These files are shared exactly
as supplied; no additional mesh edits were made while publishing the gallery.
Some 3MF files include imported original parts as well as local adjustments.
The change description applies to the set, not a claim that every part changed.

Beau's contributions use **CC BY-NC-SA 4.0** (MODIFICATIONS_LICENSE.txt).
Original material retains its own license above. Credit gpraceman and muddtt
for the original designs and Beau Gosse for these modifications; include source
links and indicate further changes. The repository's MIT license does not
apply to any of these model files or source photographs.

## Printing notes

The original designer's starting settings were ABS, 0.2 mm layers, 25% infill,
no supports, and a brim. The rotor uses a 3 mm threaded insert and screw. The
mini-basket holder was designed around 24 x 22 mm baskets.

For applicable meshed trays, the original Cura settings use zero top and bottom
layers, triangles infill, 3.0 mm infill line distance, line multiplier 2, and
connected infill lines/polygons. An STL alone does not encode those settings.
Use higher infill for the extension spindle, as recommended by gpraceman.
Consult the original listing for the complete instructions.

Load the 3MF projects in a compatible slicer and inspect the sliced result:
negative volumes in the modified projects create cutouts. A simple STL export
may omit those cutouts. Machine fit, material compatibility with the selected
cleaner, and the modified parts' physical performance have not been validated
as part of this publication.
